question about Rf chips and boards
« on: August 04, 2011, 06:03:47 PM »
so im wanting to know if its possible to take a rapid fire chip and basically make a Intensafire style layout. basically get some honeycomb kind of stuff and put the chip on there and cut out the area where the chip would need to go to.

If you have an idea please let me know as I would like to attempt this. Thanks

what! honeycomb stuff? Do you mean the flexible circuit board its supposed to be on?

But yeah this is totally possible to do because you have to find where to buy the PCB laminate... hint hint DuPont. Theoretically its possible to take any rapidfire layout and design a flexible circuit board for it.
