when i turn it on it has some options enter product key get on network to buy a key and at the bottom of the screen it says windows vista home premium not genuine i could boot it into safe mode but how do i fix this ?

howd u obtain a copy o this vista bought legaly or found online

if its a legal copy, then try to find your disk if not, then you'll need to buy a disc/key and that should fix it without having to reinstall

or you can also download the pirated version off TBP with removewat(no activation) but then again its illegal and I don't condone Piracy but you can download it if you had payed for your original win7 and lost the disc

Oops, lol.  Yea the recovery disc won't help you if it is telling you that you need to activate.  That is Microsoft's protection against piracy.

You could still use aero, minimum requirements are 1GB RAM and a 1GHz processor.
