Sync button support for Matrix2
« on: July 11, 2012, 03:17:50 PM »
Forgive me if this is a repost. One of my customers contacted me saying they were having problems with the Matrix2 with a stealth install (using the sync button).

I think I tracked the problem down to the fact that the 1) the sync button is "matrixed" and 2) that the center pin of the sync button is an output of the matrix, while the left leg is an input.

So here's what I came up with as a possible solution.

Here are the questions that I have.

1) Is there an easier, better solution than the one shown here?
2) Will this even work? I'm concerned about the oscillating signal caused by the Matrix controller.
3) If this doesn't work, can I use a capacitor across the base and Vss?

Edit: This did not work. Does anyone have a solution for this?
