PS Vita Slim!!!

I took apart my Vita yesterday to fix my left trigger button and realized that the vita itself is actually pretty slim. there is a lot of empty space in the back part soo i made a little quick back panel from a notebook cover. Is there anyone that could possibly make a real slim back housing for the vita? This is something that i think a lot of Vita owners would like as its a pain to keep in pockets.

It looks a bit messy now but if someone can make a plastic mold that we can screw to the back to the vita that holds the back touch panel, speakers, and battery then i believe that this could be an AMAZING project!

My only complaint about my vita was how thick it was. I actually sold it and got a 3ds.

Thanks n NOOOO BETRAYAL!! lol jk. I just hope more people can see this post. Id really love to see an idea like this come to life. I'm sure next year or two Sony will release a slim with not much of a tech upgrade. But the fat will be cheaper most definitely. People could use this to get a cheaper slim

The more Apple/Samsung keep making electronics thinner and lighter than ever, other companies will know what people will expect, so I'm sure the next generation of electronics will all keep getting thinner.

Cool find though, I wonder why the designers left so much room, maybe for air-flow and less heat/overheating or to make it more comfortable?  Idk.

nice idea I'll look into molding a shell to replace the old. I noticed the same thing when I was installing the VU rear panel.

You can mold? If you do and can mold this, could i buy the mold? This would be a AWESOME thing to show off!

Only one problem, I would need to put my vita down long enough to make a mold. Very hard to do now that Black ops is on the vita.

PERSONALLY... i like the way its made because this, to me, is sony's way of telling us to mod the hell outta the vita and here's the space to add all the components you need ex. LM chip for louder sound, bigger speakers, etc...
