Talismoon slim installed now xbox getting extremely hot

So I recently installed my Talismoon fan for my xbox slim(its a spare xbox so not used very often). yesterday a buddy came over and he was on it for about 10 mins or so and i noticed that the fan is not blowing out much air and the air is extremely hot..the bottom of the console was very hot to the touch. anyone have any problems with the talismoon fan before? I tried searching google but didnt get much info.

yea its pretty much a replacement fan i only use them on rgh's and manually adjust the nand for fan speed but you can add 12volt fan mod easily posted here

awesome thanks...so the talismoon fan cables are the same colors? ive yet to open it back up to do this mod but im thinking of doing it soon

wires should be the same colors  as whisper fans its been a while since i installed a whisper fan,

Yeah they were the same color. I did like the post said and now i dont think there will be a problem with heat, that thing moves some air! Thanks for the help Rodent!

welcome  thing thats nice about that tutorial i made if you ever want to put it back to normal you can with easy by just slipping the wire back in the slot no cutting or soldering

well after having the mod done for a while now i finally played on the xbox for about an hour and holy crap that fan is loud now lol. good thing its a spare xbox not sure if i could stand that noise all the time.
