Xbox one controller 1708 u3 very hot

u3 when connecting the usb it starts to heat up, now my question is I have a top table of a 1697 and a mcu of a 1537, if I wanted to take some caps or ic would be compatible?

update: the u3 only burns if the top board only if it is connected to the mcu, if I connect it without the u3 it does not burn

Sounds more like there is a short on the 3.3v rail of the bottom board somewhere.

i think so too, and i suspect it is the 2 caps at soc, but in case i don't know the exact name and i don't have a donor board
