« on: August 22, 2021, 04:48:12 AM »

I have a problem with left analog. When I play the game the character goes all the time.
Please check the attached controler test and board images.

I have tried replace analog twice time but the problem is still there.

Do you have any suggestion? Please help.

My initial thought was the analog potentiometer needed to be replaced but you said you replaced the whole module twice, I?m assuming with the new ones. From the looks of the motherboard, it may be damaged and that could be causing it? I would?ve done the same steps you did, if it still didn?t work. Motherboards no good🤷🏽‍♂️ Or try the module on a different motherboard.

Some of those vias look like they have been torn out, so that X-axis POT probably isn't getting it's 3.2v to it.
Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.

Thank you. Can it be fixed somehow? :/

Jumper wire from a good 3.2v spot, like the Y-axis 3.2v spot, to the lead of the X-axis 3.2v spot.

Bottom of the board, how your pic is.

Code: [Select]
      O          O

+                     L3  +
Y
-                     L3  +

      O          O
        -  X  +

+ = 3.2v
- = Ground
X = X-axis
Y = Y-axis
L3 = L3 button
O = Solder lugs for the Stick, Ground

Yeah, it's working correctly now. You just need to "calibrate" it. There's multiple ways to go about it. I personally replace the pots until I find one that's centered enough.
