About me: I'm a verry well known modder on the Playstation forum I have been modding for years and have invented a slew of mods.

EDIT 1-
Must be willing to buy parts from radioshack

I would like to start as soon as possible...

I get off work in about 20 mins and will pick this stuff up on the way home. can you give me an email so I can find you agian if you dont come back to the site. I see you registered today LOL its only like $25 bucks and I dont mind wasting the money, but I dont like wasting my time LOL

well, I guess if the gamer tag is acurate I should not worry..LOl

not as long as I dont blow up.. its your team, thats your dept..LOL I am a builder, not a designer. I trust you. got a schematic of how you want to put it together, I cant see the pic send it to my email, I will pm you with it

no really what are we building. I am about to walk out the door. sure this is all I need? I have to wait on the guys in the back to finish up so I can lock the wearhouse. looks like I will be here a bit longer.

the gator bits program, that thing is great, I blew up a few components today..LOL its cool when the 555 burns up. and I live in gainesville florida, so its even cooler that I get to take the gator head and eat up the burnt out part. I had alot of fun just playing with that today. I've been at this stupid desk for 9.5 hours today and I am ready to go.

ok, so I got the first preliminary test circut together last night and got the controller tore apart, ready for pin testing. here are the pics of the first test board we are using. I left the reciever sensors loose so they can be slightly tilted or turned as needed, keep in mind this is a first test and by no means the final board. I hope to be game test ready by the end of the weekend, as long as the wife dont drive me crazy LOL

Ok I built one also But I inverted the recievers just in case there needs to be more distence from the transmitter

yep I was wondering about that, but with them turned around it is going to be close to fitting properly due to the hieght of the reciever itself.

yeah I expect the recievers to be under the casing but that might help to diffuse the IR a bit...

Matt do you have a part number of the IR emitter you used? the ones here are clear...
