i no i couldve of searched the forums but im in kinda a rush i reely need help cuz i just finshed flashing my frimware with 1.41 and when i plugged in my xbox again the screen said "play dvd" where the play game is supposed to be [oh yea the game is COD4 brand New] n when i tried to launch it a error message popped up saying to insert this disc into an xbox 360 which didnt make sense since it was in one so anything would help right for last line of defense ill send my xbox to microsoft and pray that they dont find out i flashed my firmware and opened up my xbox plz TY

They'll find out anyway. You're stupid if you think you can send it in without them knowing. Go flash it with a different fw or something and quit whining. I'm with ndrew on this.

You didn't flash your key into your dvd firmware, thats why it didn't read the game as a game but instead as a DVD.  You can flash your back up firmware on it and it will be back to like it was, if you get the key into the firmware then flash that you will be aight.  You've got a BenQ drive I would hope since your flashing with 1.41, so they are hard to brick, but if you don't have your original firmware you are SOL.  What did you use to flash it XP or Iprep dos?

ok i did all that but it still didnt work i narrowed it down to a couple of things its either the iprep im using or the way i put in the dvd key i know its not the lens or anything or else my xbox wouldnt be able to read anything at all or could it be the type of firmware im tryn to flash idk i have orginal backup try to flash it back still same problem im reely stating to think its iprep though

Sounds like you've lost your key, and thats not and good, if you can send me your firmware I can look at it and tell you if it's good, just the back up firmware, that came off the original drive, I'll be able to check your keys and info to make sure that it's correct.

you can get keys from the hacked firmware, long as he still has it.  or can read from drive.

Aight you just did the wrong firmware for the flash, you used iextreme1.1a never heard of it it was before my time in flashing.  So you need to get 1.41 and use that to make the 1.41 hacked with your firmware. Give me a couple minutes.
