Hmmm well Let see what happens. I hope I won't need it, My PC doesn't have built in com port. Though my board support it I might have to get an Port adapter.

Okie So I got the Jrprogrammer in today. I have 3 set of connection I know for the CR I need one with 2 leads.

From here I honestly don't know what to do

I found this how to install NANDx (also suppose to be for jrprogrammer)



But no idea which connection to use haha





Guidance if you can please guys

 Also I haven't been able to get The Max232 -.- no more funds for awhile. Mother day and bills took what I had left. Will have to get it when I have funds available again.

that image is for a Trinity board not a corona so do not install the wires as shown in that pic

 you will need all the wires as colors are shown here for corona but idk if you need to add them wires since you are using 4gb SD Card

Oh thank you Rodent I went ahead and downloaded the image kind of small for my eye to see so I will blow it up.

Hmm okie So I might have to hold up till we can figure out if someone knows if I need to do all the connection or not for the 4gb corona. But for the color combination look of it I need the one with the two 2 pin and one 3 pin connection end.

Did that just 2 minute ago lol The image is the same size as the one above haha. I found team xecuter forum site looking through it to see if anyone used Jrprogrammer with a 4gb corona before. Too bad I can not register :/ I could always ask them but can't

Lol yes I got the nanddump 1-4.bin so I was able to read it but Gizmo says I have to set CR to corona time using either NANDx or Jrprogrammer. Then I can create my ecc write it to CR and boot xell so i can get the DVD key.

Read up from the Max232 back to where Gizmo said I will require the tool, it will bring up to date haha.

you have to program the coolrunner . so you need a jtag cable to go from the J-runner to coolrunner so you can program it.  as of right now you can write the ecc just it will not work untill you program the cool runner for the corona you have so

1st you have to disconnect power from the xbox.  use the jtag cable hook it to the j-runner and and flash the cool runner thru j-runner.

then you can unplug the coolrunner from the jtag cable and the cool runner will be flashed.   Read my tutorial on how to flash the coolrunner.

Thank you guys  found it, okie so I am setting up right now to program the CR.

So I am at this point, what do I press? Need to look at the CR setting right?? whether or not its set to 2-3 or 3-1 or 2-1

Oh okie dokie, Well notice that the jrprogrammer and CR kept flashing. I swapped to another USB connection and I got solid red and green like on CR and solid green on jrp. The computer tried to install driver but it was a no go. I am going to see if I can find jrp driver for windows 7 x64 OS.

In the meantime I was trying to write the .ecc but I need to have Corona 4gb r/w connected to do that. But I need to have power on the mobo So I am guessing with the order to first set timing to CR for the corona then write the .ecc

Okie so I was reading on xecuter forum for the jrp I might have to flash the firmware. So I set the jrp to bootloader (slide white switch next to the reset button to the right or jp-b) I looked for the firmware which is in jrunner/common folder and flashed using PICFLASH_E_1_0_5-JRP-V2.Hex. Waited and then reset still got red light, slide the switch back to the left (away from jp-b) and got green light but nothing on the PC or on jrunner.

They say to delete all file from NANDx  but I didn't get one :/ So no idea what up. Everytime I try to flash the CR I get device not detected. I am going to try another USB port

Oh okie, I read though most of it. downloading the lib. exe and lib. bin file source. I am a little concerned that in the guide it did talk about how this might affect other USB driver. I hope not in a bad way I run external hard drive loaded with program and media.
