Title: 3 mode adjustable with jitter mode..updated 06/10/10
Post by: robbo3 on February 19, 2010, 05:20:33 AM
RBO ADJUST.HEX

Same install as hazers burnmeup,
so you use the sync button to change modes

mode1 = dual
mode2 = normal r/f
mode3 = 3 shot burst(if you go to fast  on MW2 it will only shoot 2)
mode4 = off

RBO 2 ADJUST.HEX

mode1 = dual
mode2 = normal r/f
mode3 = cod w@w
mode4 = off

**UPDATE jitter mode added**
RBO JITTER MODE V2

mode1 = dual (bug fixed)
mode2 = cod's
mode3 = jitter
mode4 = off

** UPDATE 2 on/off added**
GP JITTER V1

Same install as GameplayRF/Topfire but pin 3  go's to the Y trace, right tac is mode change and left tack is on/off in any mode,

mode1 = dual
mode2 = cod's
mode3 = jitter

speed adjustment

To adjust the speed of any mode hold in the left trigger and press the sync/mode change  button then release the left trigger,

player led will now flash the speed in s.p.s
then quickly flash to show tenths of s.p.s

to increase the speed by +1.0 press RT
to decrease the speed by -1.0 press LT
to increase the speed by +0.1 press the sync/mode change button while the led is flashing the s.p.s
once you reach 0.9 press again to go back to 0

once at your desired speed hold LT and press the sync/mode change button to exit programing.

only tested this on MW2 and W@W so it would be good to know if it works on other games
and only tested on a CG controller but should work on Matrix,

:credit to wondro18 for the original rf source

PLEASE DO NOT PM ME  QUESTIONS POST THEM HERE THANK YOU

*************update 06/10/10*************

I don't have the source for the above codes any more  so I have had to do them again  iv started with the 3 mode adjustable/programmable with jitter and done it a little differently this time and fixed some bugs,also added LT/SYNC  on/off so now its RT/SYNC to program but to exit program mode is still LT/SYNC.

all modes are adjustable / programmable

NEW  3 mode with jitter

mode1 = dual (bugs fixed)
mode 2 = jitter
mode 3 = normal rt only

To program the speed of any mode hold in the RIGHT trigger and press the sync/mode change  button then release the RIGHT trigger,

player led will now flash the speed in s.p.s
then quickly flash to show tenths of s.p.s

to increase the speed by +1.0 press RT
to decrease the speed by -1.0 press LT
to increase the speed by +0.1 press the sync/mode change button while the led is flashing the s.p.s (bug fixed )
once you reach 0.9 press again to go back to 0

once at your desired speed hold LT and press the sync/mode change button to exit programming.

Awesome!! I will try it this weekend. You always do a great job robbo3

I only have one issue, if you program for exaple 10 sps this speed is for all modes?

each mode can be set to a different speed

And to reset it you have to turn off the controller?

And to reset it you have to turn off the controller?

once you have set the speed it will remember  that speed untill you go into programing mode and  change it again

ok, once i get home i will try it i cant wait xD

It would be great that when we were trying it we post the best sps for each game. I will do it with my games

Thanks robbo3

this code sounds awsome.... but one question.... how accurate is the speed adjust cos i've notice with a prog kit i have that as little as 0.1sps can make  all the difference in how well the rf works.....????

but still i look forward to testing this code out....

cool this sounds like a really cool code.. i always though a 3mode programmable kit would be the ultimate.. ill find out this weekend when i have a mess with it....

Post Merge: February 22, 2010, 05:51:51 AM
wow i just had a play around with this code... i installed it on both matrix and cg1

then tested it on cod 6 MW2
GOW2
and Halo 3

well first of the adjustable feature is great
dual works fine
single trigger rf works fine but
burst mode doesnt seem to work at all it is just a 1 shot for each trigger pull.... so i thought maybe adjust the speed a little... took it down  still only 1 shot.... took it up a load still only 1 shot..... then i tried it out on a cg pad with exactly the same results....

just downloaded the hex to make sure i posted the right one and tested it on MW2 and it fires 3 shots for me.

well i just checked with both pads.. (matrix/cg1) and still the same result......

and before its said there is nothing wrong with my install.... as i took out hazers BMU and re-flashed it with this code. and BMU was fine.....

i'll take the chip out again download the hex again... and test again on a new pic.....
 i can make a vid of my results if needed..... aswell as pis of the install.....

fingers crossed it is only a dodgy chip where its been soldered to and re flashed a few times lol......  ill find out in 15 once i've reflashed nd re-tested

Post Merge: February 22, 2010, 07:59:02 AM
ok so i just did the re-flash.. and still the same issue with the burst mode.....

and also i noticed on GOW2 that the fire rate isnt very good.... are you using the 25%/75% duty cycle that hazer used to get round the cod 5 patch... because this makes rapid fire on GOW2 dodgy.....

and i beleive this could be causeing the problems with burst mode.. cos when hazer first released BMU3 i set a pic up with a 3 shot burst with the duty cycle and it didnt like it... and would only work on cod5 but would get capped sometimes....??????????

i use two different speeds for press and release to get around the W@W patch,
which might be the problem.

try this one

um on halo i left at the standard speed its set to and yeah it was good.... ill do a proper full test with a vid or 2 for you tomoro if i get this issue with the burst mode sorted...... but still this is a great rf

ok robbo i tested that test.hex a min ago....

and firstly was it ment ot be only 1 mode none adjustable (dual trigger....)

well um it fire fine on halo both triggers
i tested it on gears and it reconises that it's rapid firing unlike before... but being set to halo speed its to fast for it......

just as a sugestion you should maybe, somehow make it so you've got your 3modes dual,single,burst and can adjust the speed and whatever just like your original code but with this trigger pull/release timing... (so it works on most fps games like normal..) and then somehow have another button combination say hold both triggers and tap the sycn. to put it into a cod5 trigger pull/release ratio....do you know what i mean....

Post by: spurgurgle on February 24, 2010, 04:29:57 AM
cool cheers robbo...

ok so im testing this as i type.....

mode 1 dual works fine on halo and MW2 with speed adjust and everything...  :tup:

mode 2 amazing on GOW2, and MW2 and Halo still with speed adjust ...  :tup:

but still burst mode is being dodgy....

im using a matrix pad today.... and on halo if i wiggle the trigger (not full pull and release) it will fire in bursts of bout 2-3. which is ok but not quite right compared to other burst modes such as the one on hazers BMU3.

then on MW2 burst didnt do anything. it was 1pull 1shot. and the same on gears of war 2....

both the other modes are fine and dont need messing with.... its just the burst still..... but again man everytime i test this out i like it more and more.... the hammer burst on GOW2 at 7.7sps on mode 2, is wicked and doesnt have to much recol when compared to other rf codes at a similar speed.   :tup:

-----------------------------
just ahd a thought... if the burst mode is still being dodgy y not replace it with a second full rf speed so
mode 1 is dual trigger
 mode 2 is single trigger
and mode 3 is single trigger (ocd 5 trigger pull ratio)

or somthing like that.... i dunno.  all i know is this code is awsome or will be when i can get all 3 modes working....

hi robbo just done a test of this code again... on halo 3 with a matrix pad.... and it all works fine.... i dont have a copy of cod 5 to test o see if mode 3 works past the patch.. but i guess it will...

how ever i did notice a bug withthe dual trigger mode...... (mode 1)

ok turn pad on.....
select mode 1
pulll right trigger = it fires right gun
pull left trigger = it fire left gun
pull both triggers = it fires both guns.
adjust speed on mode 1 tp 11.2 sps
now pull left trigger no rapid fire.
pull right trigger both guns rapid fire....
scroll through all modes back to mode one and left and right triggers are back to bing indepent...

is this a intentional akimbo mode ???
either way its pretty cool being able to fire both guns on the 1 trigger..... i really like this code robbo you've done a great job on it  :tup:

hi robbo just wondering if you've had a look into that bug i noted with your last update of this code....

hmm i think its odd knowone has taken a interest in this code cos its awsome....... if i could code this is similar to my idea of a ultimate rf code.......

could you make it so mode one works like this....

still duel trigger but you only need to pull the left trigger or right trigger to fire both guns..... kind of like the bug i noted before.. but stays like it evan after scrolling through all the modes.....??????????

Robbo whats the default settings for ur jitter modev1 hex codes? whats the default sps on it, cuz i fiddled with the second one which is for cod, and now it studders and shoots in bursts? Do u know what causes this? thx.
Title: Re: 3 mode adjustable sleeper + jitter mode..
Post by: robbo3 on April 09, 2010, 10:43:51 AM
 10 sps = 10 flashes is the default speed for all modes
Title: Re: 3 mode adjustable sleeper + jitter mode..
Post by: Thejld on April 09, 2010, 10:48:37 AM
why do u think mine studders then? is it actually 10sps when it flashes ten times cuz it seems alot faster than that.
Title: Re: 3 mode adjustable sleeper + jitter mode..
Post by: robbo3 on April 09, 2010, 11:14:21 AM
for mw2 set mode 2 at 9sps and 10sps for w@w
Title: Re: 3 mode adjustable sleeper + jitter mode..
Post by: Thejld on April 09, 2010, 11:25:08 AM
So dont use the editing thing right? how many sps is it actually when it blinks 10 times,it seems alot faster then 10sps
Title: Re: 3 mode adjustable sleeper + jitter mode..

So dont use the editing thing right? how many sps is it actually when it blinks 10 times,it seems alot faster then 10sps
mode 2 is set at 75 dec.release and 25 dec. pull which should output a speed of around 10 sps for cod w@w,
this speed will work on mw2 but may stutter with some guns,
i think 9 sps is best.

great to see even more improvment for this robbo. :)
really loving this code, really have the best of both worlds ... its getting close to FLEX with jitter !
the low amount of modes but configurable defo seems the way to go !

only fault i really have found is when you go back into to programme mode, it doesnt start at the current settings, espesially the .x settings.
it does sometimes if you leave it to cycle round a few times
or if you go down say, it will then flick to how it was minus one etc ....

got it going lovly on me matrix controller (see other thread) but dont really understand what
s.p.s stands for or what the 25 dec. stands for... been under imression its the delay between triggers ?

cheers again :)

ye if you enter programing mode and  increase/decrease the sps (shots per second) and then exit prog mode before the led has finished flashing the sps the next time you enter prog mode it will continue flashing,
so say you increase the sps from 10 to 11 but exit prog mode after only 5 led flashes the next time you enter prog mode it will flash 6 times then start again and then flash 11,

i was thinking of adding a extra tack button for quick on /off so you can turn jitter off when needed?

Title: Re: 3 mode adjustable sleeper + jitter mode..
Post by: gadget78 on April 09, 2010, 02:47:21 PM
arrr that makes sense :) least theres a reason .. does that have to be like that ? not really sure its useful in any way ? or just even more coding !

i think if you was going to add another tact, then have one for quick on/off, and the other for mode change ..
therfore you can still mode change quick, and can quick turn it on/off (even when ya in RF/mode 2)
as it it nice to be able to quickly turn it on/off for when you weapon change etc

if you was going to mess with the wire placement/setup etc
would be good to move them around so its more compatible with topfire/FLEX and others
so have the Y from PIN3 and the two tacts on pin4 and pin5 like topfire/flex
then the only between the codes would be LEDS / Y button feed,
could then be easy to swop between them etc (even do it via a toggle)
bit like a standard for wiring in (opensource) hex

in W@W it seems it does stutter/slow or whatever when its wrong, using what ever code you posted on xbox-scene, as i never even noticed this thread :(
as when i went from MW2 to W@W i had to adjust it down i think it was, from default to 9.3 i last had it ...

not properly tested the current release .. eiether way adjusting it got it working nice :)
gotta love the programmableness of it !

ye the cod mode is not a 25% duty cycle like hazers it  has 2 different timings for the  press and release of the trigger so it wont fire as smooth as the 25% duty,

thejld
try the v2 hex and see if that's any different for you

Hey could you make a GP jitter with COD4, COD(25%cycle), and jitter.
Otherwise this is perfect.  :tup:

EDIT: if you could use 2 leds for s.p.s? that would be great

Its the same install as hazers burnmeup, you wire it up to the top pin of the transistor that comes off the sync button.

heres the diagram https://www.acidmods.com/software/hazer/burnmeup2/matrix_sleeper.jpg (https://www.acidmods.com/software/hazer/burnmeup2/matrix_sleeper.jpg)

ok, I am achiving these codes and adding them to the code list. but as I am not familiar withthem I have a few questions to get it all right.

1. I see 4 difrent codes in this topic, please confirm.
2. please confirm I have the modes right:
    robo adjust v1=adjustable sleeper(wired like BMU2)
    robo adjust v2= adjustable sleeper with WAW (wired like BMU2)
    robo jitter v1= jitter with tact switches (wired like gameplayrf)
    robo jitter v2= 3 mode with jitter sleeper (wired like BMU2)
3. is the robo jitter codes (v1 &v2) adjustable rates of fire?
4. who gets credit as the author of these codes?
5. confirm matrix working on all codes.

With the RBO Adjust V2 The player LED you have the wire soldered to stays off unless you tutn on the raidfire. Even when you turn on the controller. All the other LEDs flash except for the player led ur using for the rapidfire

just updated some of me older controllers ..

just wanted to clarify some stuffs...
whats the dif (apart from the mode placement) of GP JITTER V1, and the NEW 3 mode with jitter ?

also wanted to add, for all the matrix posts, yes this does work, but you have to use a additinal chip to get it to switch teh Y properly (i posted the way i did it in a few threads back ages ago !)

ive got it installed in a Matrix...
here is my original post about how i did it (with the componants i had laying around !! )

https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,35810.msg271133.html#msg271133 (https://www.acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,35810.msg271133.html#msg271133)

i expect you may be able to use a opto coupler instead ?
(which is something you may have, as its something you have to use in the newer controllers anyhows)

yes the newer code is good for the people with one button, ive been using the GP JITTER V1 as i have two extra buttons fitted :) will have to compare the code etc ...

Hey guys, i have a problem with the rbo adjust 2, i have a new matrix board controller and i just can´t make it work, i installed it like bmu3 matrix, i used 2 330 ohms resistors, 1 diode 1n4148 and a 1k omh resistor.
It works fine with the mode 2 and 3 but mode 1 shoot with the right trigger both pistols(akimbo), when i change the sps of that mode to 23sps the left trigger doesn´t work, can anybody show me the diagram of instalation in a new matrix board please?

Excuse my english, i´m Mexican :D
