Most of the time you can get pretty far at figuring out what something is based on how it's all connected in the circuit and the package it's in, it also doesn't hurt when most of the part number is on the top of it.
It's a decoupling cap, the actual value is 100nF, but it could be anything from 1nF to 1uF or even missing and not really make any difference there.
Which version of board do you have? or get pics of your board around where you were working on it. I'd guess you probably knocked the 100k Pull-Down Resistor for R3 off there, as that will make R3 act all goofy, but I need to know what version board it is.
Make sure this little guy is still on there first.
